Scot:  No Sam, my boss needs me to drive in.

Sam:  Why don’t you just tell him that there is construction in the freakin’ way?

(This made perfect sense to him.  We have an excavation crew here putting in a new very long driveway, so they are frequently blocking our access to the house.)
