You spend all this time telling each of your kids that writing on things such as walls, doors, windows, furniture and such is a “no-no” only to have your 15 year old daughter write Dumble in the middle of the front door.
Katie: But Mom, it is in pencil and you can erase it.

Reason number 531 for Katie to wear her glasses: She has been working on a poster for quite a while now and was just complaining that the glue stick was not working. She also said that she had drenched the stuff in glue and was holding it together to try to make it dry and stick. I walked over to look and she was not using a glue stick, it was moisturizing, healing, lip balm.
Katie: Well, it looks a lot like a glue stick: it’s white and sticky. I thought it was some sort of bargain brand!
Me: She definitely takes after you Scot – lip balm, glue stick – Pasta Roni, Hamburger Helper. It is all the same stuff.
Scot: The Pasta Roni box looked like a Hamburger Helper box, too.
